Carol Brewster is widely regarded as one of the very best singers ever to have come out of Birmingham. Handsworth born she studied music in London and worked with among others the great Chaka Khan.

Recognised as the finest gospel singer around she moves effortlessly into Jazz and is a favourite of both Andy and Vic. This photo was taken in the Symphony Hall Foyer Bar when she popped in to sing a number with Andy Hamilton & the Blue Notes, and wowed everyone with her fabulous voice.
