CAROLE WESTWOOD

 

Her singing style has been described as ‘effortless smooth and vital’. She has been warmly received at many well-known venues including Ronnie Scott’s and the NEC.

A couple of years ago she trawled the Midlands scooping up Jazz awards, including‘Shrewsbury Jazz Singer of the Year 2005’ where she beat off fierce competition from London and elsewhere and at the inaugural “Birmingham Jazz Awards” where our very own Andy Hamilton won a Lifetimes Achievement award.

She visits Corks with her regular rhythm section, the Archie Cotterell trio.
