Roi Kwabena

For the Ladywood Community School of Music's induction evening Roi brought his talking drum to the Community Centre for a performance with Andy Hamilton and the Blue Notes. Students learning with Andy Hamilton and the band also took part. Roi has frequently guested for Bearwood Jazz with Andy Hamilton and the Blue Notes.

Roi calls himself a Poet, Musician and Cultural Activist. He is currently Birmingham's Poet Laureate.You'll find loadsa stuff about Roi on the web. Here's a few useful links:
