Dr Steve’s Jazz Surgery
MUSIC & MEDITATION
♦    Friday 8th November    ♦

The next Dr Steve’s Surgery session (Friday 8th November) will explore the relationship between music and meditation via the medium of free improvisation. Music and meditation are two separate activities undertaken for the widest variety of reasons, yet they resonate in many complex ways, secular and sacred and somewhere between the two.

Joining Steve Tromans on this journey into the OM are the exceptional talents of Fiona Troon on bassoon and contrabassoon, Dave Nock on electric guitar and throat singing, Steve Palmer on drums and percussion.

All open minds very welcome!

MUSIC & PERFORMANCE ART
with Lucy Muse & Ben Thomas

♦    Friday 11th October     ♦

Dr Steve with Lucy Muse & Ben Thomas

Friday 11th October will see Doctor Steve in the excellent company of Lucy Muse & Ben Thomas for the 2nd in the new season of his Jazz Surgery sessions at the Silvershine Jazz Club at its new home, upstairs at the Bear Tavern in Bearwood. The theme for the evening will be MUSIC & PERFORMANCE ART. Lucy & Ben are visiting from Wales to take part in the event. Seriously, this is not one to miss!
